Calicut students experience traditional Kerala crafts — Aranmula mirrors, coir weaving, and Kasavu dyeing.
Students at the University of Calicut participated in a hands-on traditional craft workshop organised by SPIC MACAY Kerala. Artisans demonstrated the intricate techniques of Aranmula mirror making, coir weaving, and Kasavu fabric dyeing, allowing students to try the crafts themselves and appreciate the skill behind everyday Kerala heritage objects.
